Meetings
The Charlotte Business Guild hosts meetings for members and guests. Our meetings feature a variety of speakers and programs that are thoughtfully designed to appeal to our diverse audience. It is our goal to promote cultural awareness, community involvement, business opportunities and entertainment at all of our meetings. Admission to our meetings varies depending on venue and the type of food that is usually included.
Although our meetings are normally held on the third Tuesday of the month, we also host special events and monthly socials.
Monthly Socials
Our socials are held at different locations and at various times, and our venues include restaurants, bars, galleries and parks, among others. The purpose of our socials is to provide a casual after-work event that is always free to attend. In addition to having fun and making friends, we are able to support fine local businesses.
Special Events
The Charlotte Business Guild's special events are always exciting and showcase our adventurous spirit. These special events include the Annual CBG Expo, at which vendors are invited to showcase their businesses at a very modest cost; our annual summer lake party, which is always a highlight of the year; movie and theater events, parties, dances, and others. Our year would not be complete without such special events as as the annual Don King Awards ceremony, wine tastings and holiday drive that have become our signature events.
