FAQs

Do I have to own a business?
No!!! The Business Guild is a group of professionals, business owners, employees and others in the Charlotte area. While some members do own their own businesses, it is not a requirement for membership.

Where do you meet?
The Business Guild has a monthly dinner meeting that is usually held on the third Tuesday of every month unless it is a "Special Event" month. The venue and price varies depending on the type of event and offerings. Check our home page for current information on upcoming events.

How do I become a member?
Join the Guild by filling out the online form. A member of the board of directors will contact you about your membership inquiry. Membership dues are currently $50 per year for inidviduals or $80 per year for couples residing at the same address. Click here to view other membership options. It's a great way to check out the Guild if you're thinking of joining. Membership is not required to attend the social or monthly events.

Is the Guild active in the community?
Yes. We have supported and donated time and money to many organizations in the Charlotte community including the Lesbian and Gay Community Center, One Voice Chorus, Time Out Youth, RAIN, and others.

How do I update my mailing/contact information?
Go to the Join the Guild page. Fill the membership application form out with the new information. At the bottom of the form, make a note that says "I am a current member updating my information." We will update your records when the notification is received.
